WCF is de nieuwe manier om een gedistribueerde applicatie te maken in .NET. Waar je voorheen moest kiezen uit een aantal compleet andere technieken, zoals webservices en .NET remoting, biedt WCF je de voordelen van al die technieken bij elkaar. We gaan in 3 dagen een basis WCF applicatie maken en daarnaast komen debuggen, error handling, concurrency, security en transactions aan bod.

Wij adviseren onderstaande voorkennis:

Deze shorttracks zijn bedoeld voor ontwikkelaars met ervaring in Visual Studio 2003/2005. Ervaring met C# of VB.NET is eveneens een vereiste.

Doel

Bij WCF hoef je niet meer te kiezen tussen de verschillende features van webservices, .NET remoting en COM servers. Je hebt gewoon alles!
