Cursisten leren hoe zij Cisco UCS-servers met geconsoliseerde I / O-netwerken voor LAN en SAN-connectiviteit kunnen ontwerpen configureren en beheren. Verder leren zijhoezede snelle en eenvoudige mobiliteit van de server-besturingssystemen kunnen virtualiseren aan de hand van fysieke servers. Hand-on labs geven de cursisten ervaring in het configureren van fouttolerantie, de uitvoering van een Multi-tenant management model, het maken van een back-up van systeemconfiguraties, het herstellen van systeemconfiguraties en het ontwikkelen van tools op het gebied van monitoring en troubleshooting in Cisco UCS Manager.

EnglishThis five-day hands-on course focuses on the design, deployment and operation of a Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS).Delegates will learn how to configure and manage Cisco UCS servers with consolidated I/O networking for LAN and SAN connectivity,how to virtualize server properties to enable simple and rapid mobility of server operating system images between physical servers. Hands-on labs enable delegates to gain experience in configuring fault tolerance, implementing a multi-tenant management model, backing up and restoring system configurations, and how tomake the most of the monitoring and troubleshooting tools built intoCisco UCS Manager.

This course is intended for experienced Cisco Server Administrators, Network and/or Systems Engineers involved in the deployment of Cisco Unified Computing System Solutions. This course is also one of the requirements for Channel Partners looking for accreditation for the CiscoData Center Architecture or the UCT Specialisation.
