The first section of this course serves as a prerequisite for other PeopleSoft HRMS application classes and covers the central concepts behind PeopleSoft applications. The Human Resources portion of the course is designed to provide a solid foundation for implementing PeopleSoft Human Resources for an organization. The last section covers the activities and functions required to set-up and administer benefits through PeopleSoft Human Resources Base Benefits. The section also encompasses the structure and set-up of benefit plans, benefit programs and payroll deductions.Learn To:Navigate through the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA)Access and search through the PeopleBook online helpIdentify and setup the core human resource implementation tablesCreate and hire workers through templatesSet up benefit health and welfare plans, savings and pension plans, and benefit programsEnroll employees in benefit programs and add dependents and beneficiariesA Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
