Oracle IRM is a form of information security technology that secures and tracks sensitive digital information everywhere it is stored and used even outside your firewall. Encryption extends the management of information beyond the repository to every copy of an organizations most sensitive information, everywhere it is stored and used. This includes on end user desktops, laptops, and mobile wireless devices, in other repositories, inside and outside the firewall. Information rights management is information-centric security, in that it secures information directly in addition to information within access-controlled repositories.This course provides an overview of Oracle Information Rights Management 10gR3 functionality. Through instruction and exercises, you learn the skills necessary to successfully install, administer, and configure Information Rights Management. Participants will also configure both IRM Server and Oracle Content Server for integration between the two.Learn To:Identify all components of Oracle Information Rights ManagementInstall Oracle Information Rights ManagementConfigure Oracle IRMCustomize Standard Rights Model and Web siteA Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time.
