This module of Oracle Payroll is aimed at people implementing Oracle Payroll in UK and consists of eight submodules. The Total Compensation Elements for Payroll submodule explains how to set up the elementsâ¿¿ formulasâ¿¿ and balances you require to define your earnings and deductions for payroll processing. For certain aspects of the total compensation package-such as benefit plansâ¿¿ salariesâ¿¿ and accrual plans-there are additional setup stepsâ¿¿ which are covered in other modules. The Costing submodule explains how to enter costing information using Oracle HRMS. This includes areas such as mapping your GL and HR reporting structures so that you can allocate costs correctlyâ¿¿ setting up the cost allocation key flexfieldâ¿¿ and learning how to allocate costs effectively using Oracle HRMS. The Salary Administration submodule explains how to administer salaries on an individual or group basis using the Salary Administration functionality. The Absence Management and PTO Accrual submodule explains how to set up the rules that define methods used when you record absencesâ¿¿ who is entitled to paid leave of each typeâ¿¿ and how much time can be taken. The Payroll Setup submodule explains the complete setup tasks involved in defining payroll for a UK enterprise. You gain an understanding of the Payroll modelâ¿¿ setting up employee and employer tax informationâ¿¿ and setting up third party payments. The Payroll Processing submodule explains the complete setup tasks involved in processing and running a payroll for a UK enterprise. You gain an understanding of payroll processingâ& iquest;¿ pre-processingâ¿¿ post-payroll processingâ¿¿ identifying exceptionsâ¿¿ making correctionsâ¿¿ and processing QuickPay. The RetroPay submodule explains the RetroPay process. You perform RetroPay to make retrospective adjustments to employee′s pay. You use this functionality to process backdated pay awards. The Advance Pay submodule explains the Advance Pay process. You perform this process to pay employees in advance for holidays or other events. The process performs payroll runs for the periods to be advancedâ¿¿ using all date effective information in place and stores the final net figure as the amount to advance. A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
