This two day course examines the advantages of using Equation Engine as a method to specify rules or equations as part of your business process. It describes the Equation Engine⿿s capability to read any table for which you have security access and to perform various arithmetic operations and external call subroutines.During the course, you learn the about the structure of an equation, write some basic equations, then edit and test a range of equations.The course is designed for functional users with a minimum of 6 months experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and who have an understanding of SQL. It is designed to provide a basic understanding of PeopleSoft Equation Engine and introduce users to the ability to write equations.Learn to:Write equations using language constructs Edit and test equations Apply Equation Engine to Financial Aid Apply Equation Engine to Population Selection Apply Equation Engine to Student Financials A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
