This course is presented using Sun′s web-based Live Virtual Classroom. The LVC is a dynamic and fully interactive online learning environment that features live teaching, collaboration, and instructor-assisted activities. The Sun Fire High-End Server Administration course provides students with the skill set necessary to identify the features and architecture specifics of the Sun Fire 15K/12K and Sun Fire 25K/20K servers. These skills include performing configuration and platform administration methodologies supported by Sun on the Sun Fire High-End Server, and being familiar with and using troubleshooting tools and techniques available within the Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) relevant to the Sun Fire High-End Servers. The hands-on labs offered in this course may involve accessing equipment that resides at a location other than where the training is delivered. Students will not have physical access to this equipment. Students who can benefit from this courseSenior Sun Enterprise System Administrators, Senior Service Providers, Operations Managers , Information Technology Planners, and individuals responsible for configuring, upgrading, and supporting Sun Fire High-End ServersA Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
